This is your chance to showcase your rare CPs in a natural life-like setting. All my terrarium supplies are of the absolute highest quality and will enable you to build your terrarium into a show case. First I recommend a cork material for the backing of your terrarium. Then add your substrate which can be a small layer of washed aquarium gravel at the bottom. Then you can use lfs or Spanish moss to fill in any gaps around your potted specimens. At that point you can add special wood branches and strategically place them in your terrarium for a life-like presentation. You can add really cool air plants (epiphytes) to your branches and cork background. These require little maintenance and will bloom under the correct conditions. You can also add ground cover such as baby tears, etc. to give you a green carpet effect. Terrariums are also a wonderful environment for small amphibians and frogs creating a living tropical rainforest presentation that is easy to maintain. Terrariums can be an absolute showcase in any room of any home to present your wonderful plants to everyone. Thanks, good growing, Chuck! |
